The good:
Great location on the beach.
Downwinders organised (only with minimum of 4 people, which was not always the case).
Campfire on some nights
Community vibe
The bad:
Kitespot is very limited in size during low tide
More noise than expected on weekends, especially for an eco camp
I have no clue what the 90 USD per night we paid went to.
Food was good quantity, but the same fried fish everyday.
The ugly:
No low-wind activities organised, even after asking (fishing, SUP, kayak etc. was not possible)
No electricity whatsoever in the cabana, thus no light, no fan, no USB charging etc.
Small and worn down mattress.
Bucket operated toilets didn’t flush properly
Conclusion:
Go there for the kiting only and check on wind conditions before you go/book. If you want any form of comfort go to any of the two hotels in Buen Hombre. – via
