A small museum about the life and history of Karen Blixen. I would highly recommend getting a tour guide to walk you through the history of the place and to really experience the place, I would also highly recommend watching the movie or reading the book. “Out of Africa” before hand. While there one can take pictures around the compound but not be allowed to take pictures inside the house. If time allows please do take the nature trail as well and see the old coffee drier. – via
