We were there in march. We have more than 3000 dives and worked around the world, and we have to say it was one of the friendliest diveschool where we ever were. We did independent dives and we got everytime good briefings. The dive sites are interesting and there is plenty of fish around …angel sharks on almost every dive! We also recommend to do the under water museum. Thanks for the tea after the dives and hope to see you again. – via

Having passed my O.W and A.O.W with Island Watersports over a year ago i set out on my journey as a qualified diver.
This is where it gets interesting, Having now dived in several places around the world with several different dive shops / Trainers and clubs.
I can Honestly say no one has ever come close to the care attention and warmth that you will receive at Island Watersports, From Marie telling you to keep hydrated and making sure you apply sunscreen to the way above and beyond Ian & Victor go to teach you.
Having done other courses else where i can say these guys don’t just tick the boxes and teach you the minimum, they go above and beyond.
If you are looking for a dive, you will be hard pressed to find anyone who will be as good.
If you are planning on taking any courses, just ask yourself one question, Do you want to learn to dive or do you want to learn to DIVE.
These guys have taught me skills and tips and trick that have made my diving journey amazing and i will forever be grateful for that. – via

I have just completed my PADI open water course with Ian and Marie and I can’t recommend them highly enough. I dropped in to the shop on a whim and Marie was chatty and relaxed, there was no hard sell. They were eaven able to accommodate me and a couple of friends on a try dive, so we could all dive together. Most of the dives were from a beach only a short walk from the dive center, otherwise we got in the water A 5 minute drive away. The underwater environment was incredible and there is so much more to see. And for plus size ladies, there are specific issues around boyancy and kit, I have had alot of trouble previously finding a wetsuit for open water swimming and snorkeling. I am a UK size 26 and Marie ensured I had a comfortable wetsuit, and Ian helped me achieve an effective weighting in the water so I could keep my position level. Genuinely lovely people who are passionate about making diving safe and fun. – via
