I was fortunate enough to be able to dive at this shop for 30+ dives last year. Every dive was incredible. The rental gear is incredible. The staff is incredible. The shop is incredible. The owners are incredible….. Look I think you know where I’m going with this, treat yourself to a dive, thank me later, you will not be disappointed! I will be back!!! – via

This is my second time diving with island scuba, absolutely stunning. Team is always professional and accommodating! Nayda always greets you with a smile and makes sure you are fitted with the proper gears. Pedro is one of the coolest and most knowledgeable divers I’ve met! He has a magic to call sharks for you 🙂 And he pointed me to lots of fun creatures on our dives, including funny looking conchs with their alien looking eyes, and king crabs fighting against each other! Captain always helps you on the boat to get geared up and ready to go! Although if you have not dove for a while, I recommend to get a refresher before you join, Pedro’s dive is for people who are “ready to go and enjoy”, not a “try dive” for beginners. – via

excellent place to go for the morning scuba dive for open water certified divers. the tea. is ready to go and takes yIu on a trip with so much to dive for viewing coral, sharks, fish and other sea creatures. both tank dives were amazing. the North island sees a lot of wind and turbid waters in the winter so plan on visiting the South Island areas for clear water. – via

Amazing people and dive sites! Pedro was great to dive with and made everyone on the boat comfortable and relaxed even with the varying levels of experience. The wall is incredible to dive on and we ended up with 7 reef sharks swimming all around us towards the end of the dive. It was my best dive to date and i cant wait to get back to Puerto Rico and dive with Pedro again! – via

Pedro is very laid back and friendly. His family and home are beautiful (I highly recommend staying in one of his cabins). The dives are superb. We went down just days after a hurricane came through that impacted visibility, however it was still good.
Pedro’s expert guidance in swimming with Caribbean Reef Sharks cannot be understated. It is an experience I will never forget. Go do it.
The wall is amazing. I recommend taking a light for peeking in crevices and obviously watch your depth. It is so easy to get distracted when swimming with several sharks around you.
After your dives, lounging at the mangrove covered beaches below Pedro’s cabins is nice. The locals are friendly and there are nice beaches, food, and drinks readily available and almost everything in walking distance. – via
