My husband and I came to finish up our nitrox certification and were glad we did! Robert is the kindest person and an extremely knowledgeable/experienced diver. He even took the time to give us tips for our upcoming trip to Bonaire. We will be using this dive shop for all our diving needs from here on out. – via

Rob is top-notch along with his crew. Like most dive shops, there’s a relaxed vibe which is part of the appeal but what really amazes me is his absolute love and support for diving and for those looking to get into it.

6-stars!! I cannot say enough about Island Hoppers from Rob (owner) to his amazing crew. I haven’t dove in almost 10 years and needed a ‘refresher’ course before we head to the Galapagos for a week. After spending a half day reviewing everything from equipment to scuba skills then diving I’m feeling much more confident jumping in and diving. Incredibly patient crew who love what they do!! – via

This is a fantastic little dive shop with lots of equipment and an excellent and friendly expert named Byron. He is very knowledgeable and does a great job at showing you the equipment you need. Getting certified for scuba diving had been on my list for years. Finally took the plunge and signed up with my husband and some friends for the Open Water class at Music City Scuba. Sean, Lori, and the entire dive master crew out of this store are incredibly knowledgeable and just overall fantastic folks. The AM class and testing was thorough leading up to the in-pool time. Pool time was structured to give you real practice with all the important skills that would need to be executed during the four open water dives.

We appreciated the opportunity to add another pool-day to feel more comfortable with our skills before the open water day.

The care and attention that these folks have for the sport and for training was evident during those open water days, where they ensured that everyone in the group was able to complete all necessary skills with competency. In addition, the dives were a ton of fun (and challenging) and our group appreciated the sense of humor 😉 and passion for diving that the Music City Scuba team obviously has.

We love that we can continue our education with them, and look forward to improving our skills. – via
