A spot that includes the Tramuntana wind from the Pyrenees and regular sea breezes in the summertime months. The lengthy sandy Bay of Roses, on the Mediterranean coast, solely 30 km away south of the French border, has been a favorite spot for Kitesurfing. The ION CLUB Golf de Roses centre, on the southern finish of the bay is located between Sant Pere Pescador and L’ Escala. The ION CLUB centre is situated within the 4-star campsite and bungalow park La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava. The Ballena Alegre- ION CLUB Kitesurfing Zone has been working since 2005, and isn’t solely the primary official kitezone in Catalonia, it is usually the most secure within the space. The Kitesurfing zone consists of two areas, one for ION CLUBâ€šÃ„Ã²s lessons and one other for kite-experts (in highseason from June-September). No restrictions are utilized earlier than or after the above dates, besides these of our Teaching Area. We provide each day kitesurfing instruction in our official ION CLUB instructing zone from the start of the Season beginning on the 31.03.2018-14.10.2018 . This zone is situated on the extensive sandy seashore in entrance of the centre.
