Highly recommend. I was a bit hesitant with a 4.4 rating to even go here, but I’m glad I did. For the cost of admission you get to see and do everything they have here which is pretty rare. Typically you would have to pay more for the 4D movie or storm room or Hagglund ride, but not here which is a huge bonus. You also get to see various feedings and pet huskies. It is a lot of fun for all ages. – via

We had an absolutely brilliant day at the Antarctic Centre! We met huskies, spent time with Lizzie the penguin behind the scenes, experienced an Antarctic storm, stepped up to the ice challenge and had an exhilarating ride in a Hagglund – an epic day that is truly 5*s and I would highly recommend to anyone! – via

Fantastic experience. Plan to spend a good 3-4 hours. Penguin feeding, 4D cinema, snowstorm experiences are amazing. One of its kind center giving visitors a feel of what it’s like to experience the great icy continent of Antarctica. Good Cafe. Accessible by public transport, close to the Christchurch International Airport. – via
