I visited Innahura for a solo birthday getaway and it was fabulous.

I work in the Maldives and wanted a small vacation away from work and colleagues to let loose and celebrate my birthday and Innahura offered me just that.

The staff was very friendly and helped me planned my activities to keep me well occupied during my trip. Innahura is one of the few resorts in the Maldives catered towards Solo Travelers and their activities aim to get their guests to socialize.

The team had set-up a special birthday decoration for me on the bed made from traditional coconut leaf origami. – via

Lovely dives and great staff but odd pricing.

Our two daughters wanted to test scuba and we booked a package of three discover scube dives at the price of $285. I wanted to join but was not allowed to do it as a discover scube dive since I’m certified, because as a certified diver it was only $74 per dive + rental of bcd, regulator and suit ($8 each), so it would be cheaper compared to a single discover scuba dive the instructor explained…

But they forgot to mention I also needed to rent a dive computer for each dive ($8/dive) and pay a separate boat charge.. So ended up paying over $360 instead to join the girls on their discover scuba dives.. Sad to leave a great experience with memory of greed. If they just been more open with total cost it wouldn’t been a problem or a surprise at checkout. – via

If you want to dive you are in good hands. We are two people who had never dived before and we were lucky to have Poline as our instructor, a person who could not be more professional and pleasant. She transmits tranquillity and security at all times. You can see how much she enjoys her work and that’s what makes her exceptional. She has got us hooked and we will keep on diving!
The dive centre is also very well organised (from our amateur perspective) and the equipment looks in very good condition. – via

This is one of the most well run dive centers I ever dove with!
I had 4 weeks with them (july-Aug. 2022) and made 43 dives, including a scooter course.
I can only say I never had, nor met, a better diving instructor than Charles: very (very!) professional, capable and honest. E.g.: when giving directions for improving my dive skills (beit in the course or out of it; I am a Master diver with >350 dives), he always plays the ball and never the person – a real pro! You feel respected and helped without having the idea you will have to pay for it (quod not). Exceptional!
Steve and Nong are professional dive guides and they were pleased to please us, whatever we asked for that was reasonable.
The ‘boat boys’ John and Mufulhi were friendly and very helpful (perhaps a bit shy, due to the language barrier).
As a Padi 5* center, everything is there, of course.
Thank you guys for everything, I will never forget the great times with all of you! – via
