Avoid this terrible company. Paid in full on their website, they cancelled the flight, and I never received a refund.
I called them before booking to ask about choosing a morning or evening flight. They said that the morning flight will definitely happen and that the evening flight would most likely be cancelled due to weather.
My girlfriend and I wake up extra early to drive 45 minutes outside of town for the hot air balloon ride. We wait there for 3 hours after we were supposed to take flight and they cancel due to weather.
This is understandable, but when we asked about the evening flight they said it will definitely be happening but is already full.
Now onto the refund, I had to email and call multiple times just to get in touch with someone at their company. When I finally spoke with them, they said sent the refund through Paypal and it would arrive in my account in 3-10 business days.
This time period passed so I had to call Paypal and ask about the status of the refund and they tell me there’s none being processed on my account.
Only after going back and forth with them in email do I receive a message saying they have sent the refund.
It’s been nearly a month and I haven’t received anything. At this point I don’t think I will get my money back. Avoid this terrible company. – via
