I joined for a humpback whale swimming/ snorkel tour – at first I was a bit hesitant to join as I wasn’t certain how respectful they were towards the whales – but I can say afterward that they really were cautious to not scare the whales. During one of the encounters, a few swimmers tried to get closer to the whales and the guides immediately told them to stop and not to get any closer.
