I got my padi open water at Divection and I would definitely recommend anyone to do so as well. Sjouke, our instructor, was extremely nice and involved and made us all feel safe and secure in the water. Diving in the Netherlands is something very different from diving in the Caribbean, but no less fun. I enjoyed every second of it and feel confident to dive anywhere in the world now. – via google

Sjouke clearly has everything under control and ensures in a clear but also light-hearted way that everyone can quickly master the teaching material. During the exercises in the swimming pool there is sufficient time to put the theory into practice, with of course the dives in the open water in Vinkeveen as a conclusion.
A big advantage is that the diving equipment and teaching materials are arranged for you. So you don’t have to purchase anything yourself to be able to follow the PADI Open Water Diver course.

Met veel plezier de PADI Open Water Diver-cursus gevolgd bij Divection in het Zuiderbad in Amsterdam. Sjouke heeft duidelijk alles onder controle en zorgt er op een duidelijke maar ook luchtige manier voor dat iedereen de lesstof snel eigen kan maken. Tijdens de oefeningen in het zwembad is er voldoende tijd om de theorie dan ook in de praktijk te brengen met natuurlijk als afsluiter de duiken in het buitenwater in Vinkeveen.
Groot voordeel is dat de duikuitrusting en lesmateriaal voor je geregeld wordt. Zelf hoef je dus niets aan te schaffen om de PADI Open Water Diver-cursus te kunnen volgen. – via google

Yesterday I had my refresher dive in Amsterdam Zuiderbad. Beautiful swimming pool, I believe the oldest in town. It was 7 years for me since my last dive and when looking for a refresher course in Amsterdam I ended up at Divection. I called them for additional information and spoke with Sjouke. He told me 7 years is quite some time, but he could definitely do a refresher if I would go through some general theory. Sjouke explained/repeated the basic theory. We practiced with preparing the equipment and the buddy check. In the swimming pool we did exercises to feel comfortable again whilst under water. Sjouke his explanation was very easy and clear to understand. With his company he offers complete diving courses as well, I highly recommend connecting with Sjouke if you want more information on this. If I would need an other refresher dive in the future, I would go to Divection again! – via google
