Amazing experience!!! Definitely recommend Gold Coast Skydivers for anyone’s first time skydiving – or even if it’s not the first time . The staff is really great – super professional and very experienced and really helped to calm my nerves – though some do get pretty upset when you touch their nuts. And the actual skydive was amazing. Will be back!! – via

My friends and I wanted to do something memorable for a bachelorette party. Eight of us went out skydived. Everyone there was so friendly and knowledgeable. I am afraid of heights and honestly didn’t know if I could go through with it. My instructor was so great and patient it really put my mind as ease (as much as it can be when hurtling yourself out of a plane that if flying through the sky). I am so glad we did it and can’t thank the team at Goldcoast skydivers enough. Everyone from Leanne in the office, Justin and Paul (our instructors), to the people packing the parachutes made us feel like we had known each other for years. – via

Not only my first time skydiving, but also my first time in a plane!! I have to honestly say Gold Coast skydivers in Abita springs, LA made it absolutely amazing. With a crew with not just years and years of experience at tandem jumping, but also at helping rid of all anxiety of the experience ! Cracking jokes constantly to make you laugh and get your mind off of being nervous and to assure you enjoy every second of it! I cannot wait to come back again and jump with them again!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking to enjoy this life changing experience ! Thanks to everyone at Gold Coast for making my first time awesome!! – via

Very disappointed with this company. They rescheduled us because they said the wind was to strong to jump. Then of course it got to cold. So after this my wife had medical issues so she wasn’t able jump. They refused to give back to deposit we put down. This is absolutely ridiculous. It’s shame that a local company acts like this. My friends actually decided to drive elsewhere and jump. IFLY is a much better company with outstanding customer service.
Plenty of emails went unanswered for several months one of the reasons this has gone on for so long. But you think with the circumstances a refund would have been offered or something. But your entitled to run your business the way you prefer.
I’m also not the only review on here that either had to be rescheduled several times, inconvenienced or treated poorly and did not receive a refund. – via

Right after jumping in March, my husband purchased us both two more tickets to jump with Gold Coast again! Needless to say, we had a fantastic time, and they’re a great crew that make it a fun experience.
They’ll mess with you the first time and make jokes, but are also very supportive and helpful with making sure you’re mentally ready to jump, and know what you’re supposed to do.
The second time, I told Paul I wanted to do five flips and he did it for us!!! Soooo awesome!
If it’s your first time, I highly recommend getting the photos and videos, because otherwise there aren’t many opportunities to get it yourself. Plus, you’ll never get to experience your first time jumping ever again.
Also, bring a jacket just in case. You might not need it in the summer, but it was freezing on the way up in March. In October, it wasn’t bad but I was still glad I wore one.
Do it, you won’t regret it! – via

Rick is very helpful and ready to help with your diving experience. My wife and I have had fun learning to dive through Rick and his shop. We had a couple of hurricanes that came close to Florida and delayed our checkout dives but we soon picked up and had a blast. Thank you Rick for your help and patients. – via
