Had a fantastic experience at this dive centre! Did my open water, and then did another 3 dives with them after completing this as enjoyed it so much. The teacher for the open water course was exceptional and put me at ease. Saw some amazing turtles, fish and even a shark. Would highly recommend. – via google

I had a wonderful time with GIDC. My dive instructor Lis was informed about my lack of experience (last dive was some time ago) and he made sure i was by his side. He was also very observant and i managed to even see baby sharks, cuttlefish and many many turtles. Pictures and videos came free, and they even went out of their way to drop me off at Gili Meno.

Overall equipment were good and the 45min diving times were adequate. Price was cheapest around too. Don’t confuse this centre with G Air Diving. Definitely recommend GIDC. Thanks team! – via google

Best value dive shop! World class diving and certification for super affordable price. Great crew, from the shop to the boat and the dive master’s. They send you with a dive master for safety and to show you the best spots and marine life. Felt very well taken care of. They took pictures on the GoPro for us. Saw sharks, cuddlefish, lots of Turtles, and all sorts of reef fish and coral. Was only going to do one day of diving but ended up doing two because we enjoyed it so much. Lunch was great, overall great experience, highlight of my trip to Indonesia! – via google

Had such a great day yesterday with these guys, signed up for the discovery scuba dive. Rozi, our guide, was attentive, didn’t rush when introducing us to the pool and helped calm the nerves on the sea dive to be able to see an array of sea life and two turtles! Wat een fantastische duikschool. Inmiddels is dit mijn 3e keer dat ik daar voor een lange tijd duik. Zowel mijn open water, advanced als mijn rescue daar gehaald en een hoop fun dives.

Er hangt een fijne sfeer met dank aan de eigenaren maar vooral de divemasters en instructeurs. Ze doen dit met zoveel plezier en dat weten ze heel goed over te brengen. Altijd bereid je te helpen, of het nou met duiken te maken heeft of niet. De duik spullen zijn in goede staat. Ze hebben prachtige duiklocaties op de kaart staan en weten ook mij keer op keer te verrassen. Van het zien van heel veel schildpadden tot aan de schattigste kleine vissen tot aan haaien. En wat heb ik er veel gezien!

Het klopt dat er wat dood koraal aanwezig is. Dit is iets waar de duikschool weinig aan kan doen en los daarvan, zitten daar wel vaak de “speciale” vissen. Dit heeft echter nog geen enkele keer een duik voor mij verpest. Ja het is jammer om te zien maar het zijn vaak wel de locaties waar bijvoorbeeld de octopussen, pijlstaartroggen en haaien zitten. Dus ook al is het aanwezig, het heeft nog nooit een duik minder bijzonder gemaakt.

Ik kan blijven doorgaan maar kortom mocht je op Gili Air komen en willen duiken, kies voor deze duikschool!

Heel veel liefde naar Gili Air Diving Center!

I spent 7 weeks diving with blue Marlin Air for my divemaster course and I absolutely recommand this divecenter. Their professionalism makes the dives as safe as they are fun and everybody here has an incredible vibe. First the managers, Grant and Charley are the nicest and sweetest people, they are so cool to be around. Then, I had the amazing chance to learn from the best instructors I’ve ever had, Musa, Fraser, Irlando and Erika, they taught me so much, they have incredible knowledge of the underwater world, they are so competent and make you feel safe all the time. They are amazing instructors ! The dive guides are also great and have great eye to spot all the small cool things. Finally, they use great equipment, everything is kept in great shape.
So if you are looking for the greatest dive experience, look no more, you found the perfect place – via google

Very relaxed thus highly professional Padi dive center on Gili Air. From the first contact via Facebook to diving – everything nice and easy. I contacted the dive centre and almost got an immediate response from Ilse (she and her partner Fred manage the dive centre). All my questions where quickly answered and after our arrival the checkin was easy going. Diving is done from their own boat, all the dive sites are within 20 minutes boat ride, so even just 1 dive is possible – lunch is included in the diving price. The equipment is well maintained and the local guides are very knowledgeable and helpful. We were diving with Liz and he did a great Job. The dive sites offer a good variation for all levels. For beginners it’s absolutely perfect as you can see a lot within the shallows – it’s hard to not see turtles on a dive, they are almost everywhere (green and hawksbill). In deeper parts > 20m you can even spot sharks.

One important point to note – it’s a smaller dive Center where you are treated like family, you are not a number and even beyond diving they offer advise! – via google

Alles perfekt! Wir sind mit Janto getaucht und jeder Tauchgang war einzigartig. Insgesamt haben wir 5 Tauchgänge für den PADI Advanced Open Water Diver gemacht.
