Rising from the rugged hills of Bali’s Bukit Peninsula, the magnificent Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue stands watch over the island. The towering statue is Bali’s most iconic landmark and depicts the Hindu God Wisnu, atop his mount, the legendary eagle, Garuda. Soaring to a peak of over 120 meters, this is among the tallest monumental statues on the earth, increased than each the Statue of Liberty and Christ the Redeemer. The statue makes a shocking central characteristic of GWK Cultural Park, an enchanting 60 hectare cultural park that attracts guests from across the globe and supplies a tantalizing glimpse into Bali’s fascinating heritage by way of intriguing cultural performances, legendary folklore tales, immense sculptures and dramatic cinematic presentation. Enjoy panoramic island views as you discover the park on foot or by Segway. Indulge in Indonesian heritage delicacies, immerse your self in a land steeped in mythology, or plan your subsequent large occasion in considered one of GWK’s epic venues.

The place is worth it 100%, I’ve read many comments where they say is not for one day, in my opinion you can be there one day because there is a lot of history, moreover if you got a hot day (as usual in Bali) your energy could be lower.
We bought the Ultimate Package and we really enjoyed going to the 23rd floor, you can know more about the statue’s history.
The only thing that for me was little underwhelming was the view on the 23rd floor you can’t go outside and you just can see through small windows, but the experience is worth it. – via
