Es gab keine “dummen Fragen” so konnten wir uns im 2tägigen Level 1 Freediving-Kurs frei fühlen alles zu fragen, oder zu sagen, immer mit einem guten Gefühl und wertvollen Antworten/Entgegnungen.

We had fantastic weekend in Amed learning to freedive with Fusion. I did the Level 1 course with a couple of mates. Matt was our instructor. He really knows what he’s doing, and the theory behind it. Whilst he is clearly an expert and very professional, he was also down to earth, friendly and good fun to spend the time with. Most impressive was his attention to detail and the individual advice he gave us. He focussed on each of our weaknesses and helped us get over our barriers with one-to-one tuition. We all hit the 20m comfortably by the end of the course. An amazing experience that I would recommend without hesitation. Thank you! – via google

I took a two day freedive/spearfish course with Fusion in Feb 2024. I really want to thank the team there – everything from communication to logistics to the lessons and spear fishing was fantastic. Hanan and the staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming and professional. Matt is an excellent instructor, has a boat load of knowledge and experience, and was a thoroughly great guy to learn from. I feel that I got a huge amount out of the two days, Matt’s coaching in the water was precise and helpful, and I gained a lot of confidence and understanding. If you want to learn to freedive and or spear fish, or go do some unique blue water spear fishing I can’t recommend them enough. Would definitely go back! – via google

Matt is a a super knowledgeable spearo and freediver. It’s not often that a school can offer an instructor of his quality who has been down to 90 meters deep but is also super personable and willing to share his knowledge.

I’m not sure they even have a business license or even a liability insurance.

We did the theory portion of the class at my hotel and used some random swimming pool in Amed.

The person who replies to your text on WhatsApp is somewhere in Australia not in Bali. It also seems like they have a revolving door when it comes to instructors.

Current instructor (沈焱丽 Shen Lanli) is from China with limited years of experience. She was so friendly at first, talking about positive energy this and positive energy that. She also dabbles in water coloring and Chinese herbs. But in the end, she’ll take your money and stop responding to your texts!

I would stick with legitimate dive companies with offices and staff in Amed.

I paid 700 USD for a 4-day group course but I was the only student. 2-day free diving and 2-day spearfishing. Weather was bad so we never got to spearfish but they refuse to give a refund.

I wasted 6-days because she told me to wait and wait. Then finally, she said it’s a GO on Dec 30th in Singaraja. I paid for my own transportation and lodging. When I arrived, that was a lie too!

Their money back guarantee on their web site is also a BIG FAT LIE! – via google
