Everything was good from my experience as the guide , it took less than 5 minutes for my client to have his ticket,I knew the history very well from when it was built and before then afterwards we went on with Mombasa city tour to old town, Mombasa tusk,Mama Ngina waterfront, ferry etc – via

Long queues.
Definitely not recommend.

Un lieu intéressant pour comprendre l’histoire de la ville, en particulier les dominations qui s’y sont succédées. Le prix d’entrée est toutefois relativement élevé (1200ksh) et celui des guides qui vous abordent devant l’entrée est difficilement justifiable (20 USD avant négociation). De plus, certaines parties sont fermées, tel que les remparts donnant sur la mer. – via

Exciting tour on this massive site that is so rich with historical information and features. Information taught in schools but richer by far on the ground. Glad that this fort has stood tge test of time and reserved for ages to pass on history from generation to generation. Though the wear and tear over the years, it will for sure be here a little longer. – via
