I had so much fun getting my Advanced Open Water certification this weekend! Drew and Rob were excellent instructors! I would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in diving. Everyone was so friendly and patient and it really made it so fun even when the weather was cold and rainy. I’ll be back again for any dive and certifications in the future! I highly recommend First Coast Divers, they were amazing! My husband and I took the PADI open water class and could not be more pleased with our experience! Divemaster Drew was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and made learning fun. The divemaster candidates who assisted with the class (Jen, Dan and Paul) were great and their help was invaluable to a newbie like me. Lauren from the shop really took time to help us understand gear options and get us outfitted for our dive. My favorite training site was in Rainbow River- the spring fed water was beautiful and perfect for diving! – via google

This guys are legit. This was my first experience into the world of diving and i could not have asked for a better experience. Dan, the owner, immediately took the effort to make me feel welcome. He did an excellent introduction to the class and the world of diving in general. Drew was our instructor and despite having many years of experience, still seemed genuinely interested in teaching us “newbies.” I felt like we were in extremely competent hands. I had a great time, felt very safe, and received an excellent foundation of diving skills to build upon. This began as a way for me to simply go dive while on vacation, but now i find myself wanting to go back and learn more. Well done and thank you! – via google

Can’t say enough great things about these guys. The owner one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, full of knowledge and passionate about diving. The shop is nice has tons of options in gear, and Dan is always willing to answer questions. Andrew Chubb is the greatest instructor on the face of the earth. Diving at Devil’s Den and rainbow river was awesome. I would recommend this shop to anyone. Never in the history of man has a dive shop been as great as this one. – via google

Took my open water diving certification with them and it was such a great experience! I love snorkeling and the transition to scuba was a little bit daunting at first, but everyone on the team (Dan/Laura/Alex) were so helpful and they made the transition so smooth and easy. Alex is a great instructor, we learned so much, and we had a great time during training. I also bought my first scuba equipment here and it is top quality +++. – via google

Hands down the best dive shop in the area. After speaking with Dan the owner, I knew right away that this was the right place for us to learn how to scuba dive. Emily was amazing and helped us pick out the right gear and Rob, our instructor, was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so welcoming and we felt like they really wanted to share their passion for diving.
The course was great and Rob made it all go smoothly, offering tons of knowledge and making sure everyone in the class was comfortable, step by step.
When going on our first open water dives, we observed other dive shop classes around us and that confirmed that we were in the right place. We definitely made the right choice! We highly recommend First Coast Divers! – via google

Rob Youngblood is the absolute man!!! I did my open water course with him and going in knowing absolutely nothing about diving, once I finished my last dive I felt beyond confident in my abilities to dive within my training limits. Immediately booked my advanced and nitrox course afterwards. FCD is a family environment and every single diver within this shop are so friendly and willing to help and support you reach any diving goal you have. BEST DIVE SHOP IN JAX! Excellent dive shop. I completed my PADI open dive with Charlie and he really took his time to make sure we mastered all the skills.

Dan, the owner is also amazing. I purchased my gear from here and had an issue with a mask and he replaced it without issue. He takes time to explain everything and knows his stuff.

The diving group that take trips associated with this shop are also great people and a great way to make friends. – via google
