Exotic Aquatics is a fantastic scuba and kayak store. Very professional and fun. They were able to assist me in choosing which scuba gear I should purchase for my dive level (great selection), and get me back in the water. Felt extremely safe diving with them and had a really fun time. Even saw several huge octopus! I have also rented kayaks from them and they have top quality rentals and great off the dock service. It is so easy and such a beautiful way to visit Puget Sound and Bainbridge Island. Totally recommend this store. – via

I recently took a road trip with my friends to visit Exotic Aquatics, and let me tell you, it was more than worth the two-hour drive. From the moment we set foot in the store, we were transported to an underwater world like no other. The tanks were filled with all kinds of exotic sea creatures, from angelfish to clownfish and everything in between. I even spotted a seahorse that looked like it was trying to audition for the next season of America’s Got Talent. But that’s not all – the staff was one-of-a-kind, too. They were so knowledgeable about everything in the store, my head was spinning like a jellyfish. They even gave us tips on how to start our own personal aquarium at home, which was great until we remembered we can’t even keep a houseplant alive. All in all, Exotic Aquatics was the highlight of our road trip and we can’t wait to come back and visit our new underwater friends. Who needs a beach vacation when you have a fish store like this? – via

We are visiting the island and called today and asked if there were any suggestions for where we should go kayaking. Whoever answered the phone was super grouchy and said today was a terrible day to be on the water. We went anyways and saw coyote, bald eagles, seals, and other wildlife. Water was calm with no wind – great day to be out. Friendlier staff needed. – via

Hats off to Elliott. Took my son here today as he has a keen interest in tropical fish. Elliott treated him to help him feed a few of the fish and eels. Also let him hold a star fish. It made his day. Great place and lovely to see so many kids allowed to just come and look around. A lot to be said for this sort of kindness. – via

The absolute best tropical fish store there is! The quality of their stock is unsurpassed and the staff are not only amazing but very knowledgeable. My treasured san merah discus, and Bulgarian sealpoints are the star attractions when I have company. If your ever in the area stop by you definitely won’t be disappointed. – via Google

I can not recommend any shop more highly for scuba instruction. I started out at another place across the water and my experience was so much better with Exotic Aquatics. I was uncomfortable with being underwater. While the other shop was rather intolerant of this, all of the dive masters and instructors at Exotic Aquatics had the patience and skills to help me learn to dive and get my Open Water certification. Their passion for scuba is infectious! This is the place to go to learn to scuba dive. – via

Just completed my open water, drysuit, and nitrox certifications today. Anya was a great instructor, no corners cut she made dang sure you knew how to do each skill and that you could demonstrate them before moving on. Felt very safe and calm and honestly thought I might have issues in open water but by the end of the pool sessions I felt confident. The folks that helped out in the pool and in open water were very knowledgeable and friendly. Don’t be like me and grab a bunch of gear off the internet before you go to the shop. The prices are equal or better than the stuff online and Adria will make sure you get the things you need and they fit right. There has to be a couple Hundred years of combined diving experience hanging around this shop and they love to talk diving whether it is cold ,warm or tech guaranteed someone around this place has done it and done it well. – via
