We went to Excel scuba to do our AOW certification and Oxygen provider speciality.
From start to finish the whole experience was amazing from initial contact to meeting the team we were greeted with a friendly, knowledgeable, professional team who instantly put us at ease.
Our dive briefs were thorough and left no stone unturned, very in depth and delivered clearly so we knew exactly where we were going, what to expect and what we would be doing on every dive with safety being a top priority and
Questions were encouraged and answered thoroughly by the team. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none!
The dives were phenomenal and the wreck dive and deep dive were THE best dives of my life and ones I will never ever forget! I am still buzzing with excitement!
If I could award Excel scuba 10 stars I would because you won’t find another dive centre in Tenerife as good as these guys. Dave, Paul & Sean couldn’t do enough for us and we felt in safe hands from our first dive to our last dive, there was no rush to complete tasks and the dives were exactly how they are meant to be with an array of marine life all around. They were always there encouraging us and putting us at ease throughout the course.
Outstanding team and outstanding dives and we can’t wait to return!
Thank you Dave & Paul for getting us through our course so easily and professionally and igniting our passion for diving even more! We loved hearing your diving stories and hearing about your own experiences. Thank you and we will be back soon! – via google

Brilliant dive shop!
We have just completed our PADI Advanced open water course with Excel Scuba and could not have enjoyed the whole experience any more! From the very first text to last evening after the course, all the staff have been amazing and so helpful. We will be coming back for more dives very soon.

This competent and awesome experience already started with the planning. My boyfriend and I texted with the company and they tried everything to make sure every information was captured and planned according to our wishes.
The pickup was without any issues, we were sent the live location and everything went smoothly.
Our dive master and other divers which were getting their dive master helped us with the equipment and getting into the water.
The dive itself was so much fun, Sean had a hand gesture for every fish we saw and pointed out all of the things possible to see in the ocean.
In between the breaks we all chatted a lot and it was just such a fun time.
All in all, I would 10/10 recommend this company. You will experience fun, loads of help if you’d need it and one of the coolest dives possible.

One of the most incredible diving experiences and opportunities out there , from start to finish , fast response and kept in contact with you all the way through, Michelle was brilliant in making you feel like family and calming any nerves you may have had, they pick you up at the airport straight to the beautiful accommodation located right by the beach and in the city as well, so your close to local shops food and entertainment. Your also only a 5 minute walk to the dive shop, which is where you’ll start your days off at, so the accommodation was everything you needed and more. I did the dive master internship which took exactly a month from start to finish , they got you feeling comfortable with a couple free dives before starting anything to make sure you were comfortable , and than once you were you got to dive straight into the course with their incredible instructors , Sean and Dave , most knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, people I’ve got to meet with in the industry. I will most definitely be coming back to do my instructors . Cannot thank the whole team enough thank you all for such an incredible experience ?? ?? – via google

All the staff made me feel very at home and are all extremely knowledgeable and I can’t thank them enough for their help and support. I would recommend anyone coming to dive for fun or to do courses to contact them. The dive sites they use are amazing with lots to see so you will not be disappointed. The water here is crystal clear and full of life. We even spotted an Angel Ray on our course. I dove with these guys on my last day on Tenerife. They were very accommodating with my time schedule, and they even picked me up from my Airbnb. I had the most wonderful time with Sascha and the rest of the group. It was an adventure packed day at Abades with lots of ocean life, and the sea turtle sighting was the cherry on top of an awesome day. I had the pleasure of diving with Dave and the rest of the guys earlier this month. My whole experience with them was simply sublime start to finish. A professional, highly experienced and friendly group of UK divers running the best PADI shop in Tenerife. I completed my Advanced Open Water course with Dave whilst I was out there, he delivered a comprehensive, detailed and most importantly fun training experience. I greatly improved my knowledge and confidence in the water. For anyone looking to dive in Tenerife whether it’s your 1st or 100th dive look no further. Finished my PADI AOWD course with Dave and the Excel Scuba team. The first site presented low visibility due to unusually heavy rain so they drove us 25 mins up the coast from Abades to Tabaiba – the wreck/deep dive spot to switch the order of things. Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially being paired up with other more experienced divers in a mixed group. Others were taking photos and pointing things out I may have otherwise missed. Dave took me and one other through the deep/wreck dive on day 1 and navigation, PPB and DSMB on day 2. Everything went smoothly, learnt loads, and had a great time! Missed out on the night dive due to conditions, and nitrox due to time constraints of finding the good dive spots, so my advice to others would be to meter your expectations when it comes to tackling chosen specialities according to the weather conditions. Everyone was super helpful and Dave went out of his way afterwards to help me with some PADI account issues I was having. Thank you Excel! – via google

Experience was excellent from start to finish, arrived at the shop with a warm welcome, quickly got fitted for appropriate gear then went to the dive itself. In the water felt safe at all times with the support of the excellent staff/interns at the company, even though it was my first time.
