My 8yo son had a surf lesson with one of their teachers (Javier was his name, I believe). He rated this one better than the one he had in Costa Rica last year. According to my son, the instructor was very mindful and very vocal, explaining things clearly and in lots of detail. No accidents, no scares, just lots of great moments. We would definitely do it again if we stayed longer.

Oh and the waves were better for practicing than anywhere else we’ve been. – via

I took four surf lessons here and had an absolutely stellar time: all of the instructors that I interacted with were so friendly and helpful and I caught great waves every day— what more could you ask for! I really appreciated the instructors’ focus on basics and theory which I had never received in other surf lessons I have taken in the US (OBX, NC) and instructors were always tuned in to how I was feeling, if i needed a break, etc. Instructors were also great at providing feedback and comments as to how to improve and did their best to create opportunities for me to catch waves. Another plus is they have instructors and management who are fluent in English as well, if you’re visiting from a non-Spanish speaking country. Highly recommend this surf school!! – via

I had a great experience over there! Felipe teached me so much in that short time, really pushed me. Besides his english was very good, so that we had a good talk beyond surfing as well. Thanks again for the great time! – via
