Was a really cool area however I would avoid going during spring break time as it was too overcrowded and they never had a chance to talk much about the environment. The tour guides were also stressed about the amount of people and were also a bit over the top. Would have most likely have been a better experience a different time of year – via

Concept is awesome; however it’s dirty! As you walk through the trail you see trash everywhere(someone even took a dump on the side of the trail), at the river sight you will see dirty diapers by the rocks, water bottles with pissed floating in the river. Disgusting!!!! As, I said if the locals or people in general would take care of it would be an awesome tour. ???????trash – via

Wonderful and fun! We took the night time flora and fauna tour through the Angelito’s trail in el Yunque. We had a nice walk on the trail as Mara the guide pointed out flora and shared her knowledge of nature with us. We arrived at the river and were able to take a refreshing dip in the cool waters. The guides went over safety protocols and surveyed the waters to make sure it was safe to go in.
Then we walked back up the trail now in full night darkness. Using flashlights with red bulbs so to not disturb the fauna too much, we were able to find and see so many coquis as they sang their song from the edges of the trail! It was a wonderful adventure for my husband and me, my sister, and teenaged daughters! Highly recommend! – via

My wife and I just did the twilight tour, & it was awesome! The hike wasn’t long or difficult, yet there was so much to see.We learned a lot. The tour guides, Manuel & Jorge, were very knowledgeable and helpful.
BTW the tour guides are not the owners. Please tip them generously if you’re happy with their service! – via
