Somewhere between 3 and 4 stars. I really enjoyed my time at the surf camp and I learned a lot; I met some nice people, the instructors are committed and friendly, and there’s a lot of time in the water plus video sessions to boost learning. However, 1) as a beginner, I felt like I was given different information to improve by the different instructors, which was frustrating as it made me perform moves that injured me towards the end of the week. 2) I would have appreciated them suggesting me to take a day off before I booked 6 days straight because it is physically tough. And 3) the video sessions can be a bit long and tiring – about 2 hours – and you are making the same mistakes in the beginning as the end (maybe it would make sense to review some of the footage on the beach so you can try to improve then and there). – via

This is one of the best surf camps in the world. I did surf camps in Bali, Australia and Morocco. None came close! The teachers are all exceptional, surf well and teach well. They really care about making you a better surfer. The video analysis is priceless.

Amazing surf school. Instructors are very attentive and are really motivated to see you succeed. You get 2 surf sessions each day with a half hour break, so a ton of time in the water. They even film every class and after the surf sessions they sit down, watch the video and give you more instruction. Thai is a model for what every surf school should be like. Video session after class very useful.
Due to an injury, my companion was unable to participate on the last day. By warning the day before, they did the necessary to replace the session with a massage. It was awesome, she loved it!
If you are looking for a surf school in Itacare, go there!

PS: A little advice for beginners in surfing, take a day off in the middle of your week (even if you are particularly athletic, which was our case).

Ma compagne et moi avons fait 5 jours de cours avec eux, nous avons adoré ! Très bon encadrement, bons conseils et très bonne ambiance ! Pareil pour la communication, ils sont très réactifs.
Session vidéo après les cours très utile.
Suite à une blessure, ma compagne n’était pas capable de participer au dernier jour. En prévenant la veille, ils ont fait le nécessaire pour remplacer la session par un massage. C’était génial, elle a adoré !
Si vous cherchez une école de surf à Itacare, allez y !

PS : Petit conseil de débutant niveau surf, prenez un jour off au milieu de votre semaine (même si vous êtes particulièrement sportif, ce qui était notre cas).
