Dirk and his team took really good care of my buddy and I for our Dugong diving trip. The dive crew was professional and experienced. The Dugong day trip is not a regular kind of program. Many things outside of the operator’s control could go wrong – the local authorities (Dugong police) assigned to your boat, finding a calm and settled Dugong, visibility, other boats and divers, rough seas etc.. This is where the experience of Dirk and his team shone as they navigated around these problems. The fees, regulations, and involvement of the Dugong police can get a little complicated. Do your research and ask lots of questions while planning this trip. Dirk was very prompt to respond. I wouldn’t have done the my Dugong dive trip with any other operator. – via

(Translated by Google) My husband and I were on tour with the Dugong Divecenter on 11/29/22. Since we lived in Coron City, we decided to take the scooter (1 hour drive) to Maricaban Village Pier at 5 a.m. in the morning. This saved a lot of money because the tours from Coron city with a shuttle bus are much more expensive. At the pier we were greeted by our guide Brian, because he lives right in the small village. Many people from the village work for the diving school or the associated resort. We were picked up u.a. by Dirk the boss (also speaks German). 10 minutes drive to the opposite resort with affiliated diving school. Equipment well maintained, compressor system a dream including nitrox filling system, best system I have seen in the Philippines so far, with its own diving school pool, speedboat ride (very neat) to the dugongs, small group of 5 guests in total, everything is really very protected and not just talk , Admission to Dugong Watching only with an additional DugongNationakparkguide who then locates the Dugong via snorkeling so that we divers could go directly into the water there, but you only have 15 minutes per group directly with the Dugong, with us they were generous because there were no other divers were on site, but ultimately in my opinion it is the right way to protect the animals, 2 more reef dives were also very nice and diving time was very extended (60 minutes), great guide, funny caring group, resort also pretty and quiet with a mega bar at the sea, there was a drink after the dives
Only criticism, the iced coffee at the resort wasn’t great and we had to bring our own lunch, snacks like fruit and coffee would be great after such a long day on board

Total rip off. I dived everywhere in the philippines and in asia and this is by far the most expensive dive school! A dive trip to Calauit is 9000 PHP with two dives! Thats 180 USD. What????? 1500 per dive + 1500 for equipment + 3500 for the boat + 1000 entrance fee. I dived in Coron Town with a 1,5 h boat ride for only 3500 php. – via
