I’ve been coming here either since I was born, or since the place was founded, no idea which came first, since this shop is in my earliest memories of Cayman, over 30 years ago. I’ve purchased every mask, every pair of fins, every wetsuit I’ve ever owned here. Every piece of gear I’ve rented since I was certified in 2004.
Last time I was in town, they refused to take a return on some fin straps that they had completely mislabeled. Just carelessly stuffed in the packaging for the wrong brand, wrong size. The manager completely refused to own the mistake on like a 10 dollar item. And worse, my mother was the one to try to return them, as a favor to me because I had an early flight, and they were rude and condescending to her, and suggested she was somehow trying to defraud them. I don’t know what the right number of “stars” is for something so stupid after so many years, but I do know that I won’t be back. – via
