Thanks for the amazing journey.

Through your thorough instruction, patience, and caring, I advanced from barely knowing how to swim to confidently and competently traveling the world diving to 130ft. I meet the most amazing new friends and explored places I never even imagined.

Your shop is a hidden gem for the technical knowledge you bring to the sport. At first glance, the shop may appear disorganized, but every piece of gear requested quickly appears. And, most importantly, the equipment is perfect. The gear you selected in building my kit served me very well on every dive trip. All the gear is in great condition, and the kit feels like a part of my body.

And, with all this valuable instruction and expertise, you offer very competitive prices that I have yet to find a better price online or at another dive shop for gear or instruction. And you are constantly saving me money. I can always depend on the shop for a short bungee cord or some reference line saving me the expense of having to purchase a larger quantity. The video you posted showing me how to turn my backplate into a carry-on backpack saved me $100s in airline baggage fees.

Tanya and Chris, the way you are constantly open and always willing to make time to talk Scuba make Dive Zone Scuba like a second home to me. – via google

Tonya was extremely helpful when it came down to working around our busy schedules and trying to get us certified on our watch. When it came down to the learning and safety aspect of it, if we didn’t understand something they made sure we re did the exercise before moving forward. Tonya and Chris together are a great team and we plan on using them again in the future. Dive Zone is just such a friendly, genuine and awesome business.
I have been incredibly happy in my experience with Dive Zone Scuba. I did some discovery dives in Cozumel and fell in love with the hobby. I immediately started emailing shops all around he Houston area to get certified. This was on new years and Chris and Tanya responded promptly, even though they were on a dive expedition. I booked another trip a few weeks later anticipating that I would get certified in time. Even though I was a little foolish in my timing, Dive Zone bent over backwards to work with me and my restrictive schedule to get certified. I did get the course completed and have gone on a handful of successful dive trips since then.
I did my confined and open water dives with Chris. He has such a wealth of technical and practical expertise, I definitely got more than just “open water certification” knowledge.
I live in the Neartown/Montrose area but choose to drive to Pearland to buy and learn with these guys, it is worth it.
I’ve started buying my equipment from Dive Zone, and really feel like they are altruistic in their recommendations and aren’t just trying to sell me pieces that make the most money for them like other dive shops, but are genuinely recommending equipment they have vetted/tested that will function and last. Their prices are also phenomenal. Not sure how they offer internet pricing as a brick/mortar, but they do.
I enjoy popping into the shop and talking with Chris and Tanya. They seem so interested in talking about my dives and the informal instruction when I tell them what went right or wrong. I’m relatively new to the hobby, but am elated to have found such a great support system to learn and build with. – via google

This is an awesome Dive Shop. The instructions (husband & wife team) are great and they do an amazing job of preparing you for Real World Open Water Dives. I got certified here a while back and have been to the store to buy equipment several times. I felt like they were extremely patient during class and during the open water training dives, they kept everyone safe and made sure we were all prepared. I have now made over 20 Real World dives and seeing the quality of other New Divers has really made me appreciate the training I received here. 10 Stars! – via google

This is an awesome Dive Shop. The instructions (husband & wife team) are great and they do an amazing job of preparing you for Real World Open Water Dives. I got certified here a while back and have been to the store to buy equipment several times. I felt like they were extremely patient during class and during the open water training dives, they kept everyone safe and made sure we were all prepared.
