Like other customers mentioned here, some confusion in communication. They cancelled without letting me know – cancellation was for good reasons but I was not told so I woke up at 4:30AM to go to a dive that wasn’t happening. The excuse was that the phone number listed was international, which to be fair it was, but a simple email or checking the US based phone number I had listed on the sign up form would have saved a lot of trouble. It was not the first time that I had experienced confusion about scheduling with the company. They seem like nice people and immediately refunded the amount (not including processing fee). They said they did not have space to change to a different option.
I think constructive advice would be to have email confirmation of cancellations and show times. I understand that it’s quite difficult to reschedule but going a bit more out of their way to offer a reschedule would make the experience less disappointing.
The dive I did have with them the previous week was okay. Nice helpful captain and while it was not super exciting diving that was due to weather related reasons beyond their control. – via

UPDATE… My first dive was amazing! Saw several sharks on a wreck dive. I am scheduled to do my next dive with these guys. I am always greeted with friendly and helpful staff. – via

I can’t stand trying to get info and getting stuck dealing with someone that can’t give you a straight answer. If I ask a simple, straight forward question, I’d like a concrete response not some snarky, condescending answer or a complete ignoring of said question.. What happened to common courtesy and customer service?? – via

First time using this operation. Staff was friendly, professional and went out of their way to answer all my rookie questions before booking my first ocean dive trip.
Captain Leroy on Captains Lady was amazing. I felt like if any problems did arise his experience would be exactly what I would want. A seasoned captain, Leroy helped the whole family feel safe and cared for during our first ocean dive. His first mate was skilled and knowledgeable and helped us to gain confidence on our first decent by descending with us.
Can’t say enough good things about this Dive Shop. Hope to take some certification classes from them or at least more trips. Thanks for making or trip seamless.

Booked a “2 Tank, In Shore” dive for my son and I while on a quick vacation.
Asked to pay in advance for the two of us and a dive master to accompany my son due to the depth – No problem, paid with a credit card to hold our spot on the charter.
Received a call the day before asking if we could change from the 7 AM dive to the afternoon slot due to “mechanical” issues… no problem.
Show up 6 minutes early after driving an hour and receive a call while sitting in the parking lot unpacking our gear that the dive has been cancelled due to a “mechanical” issue.
I certainly understand that mechanical issues happen but why not communicate said issue to your client in advance of the actual charter time and save them the aggravation of packing and driving to you?
Finally (and the reason I have chose to provide this unfavorable review), consider returning your customer’s **entire payment** when the cancellation has nothing to do with them and was completely beyond their control! Keeping a 3% processing fee is complete and utter BS. Poor business practice! – via

I was diving with you guys twice (2019, 2020). We have seen the sub and a couple of other great wrecks. Weather was really good. This was one of my (> 600 dives, CMAS dive master) top ten dive locations and I ?? it. The team on the boat is great and very helpful. Don’t forget to bring your own food – it’s a long ride. But Beamer the dog is a great mate. Tanks were well filled with Nitrox. To see the WWII German U Boot was a lifetime experience which I will never never forget. Thank you so much ????. – via
