Discover Diving Dive Center is a great dive shop, especially for the way they back your purchases there. On more than one occasion, owner, Michele Reed contacted her product representative to fix or replace my gear I got there. Michele is so supportive for projects related to the diving community. She volunteers her time and energy to Silver Springs State Park as a member of the dive team that cleans the glass bottom boats and Greek statues in the beautiful springs. She has also been responsible for training and recommending very accomplished divers for the team. It is a pleasure for me to recommend Discover Diving Dive Center without any reservations. Michelle did an excellent job explaining everything in her store and I never felt any pressure to buy like some dive shops I’ve been too. Hands down one of the best shops in Central Florida. They treat you like family wether your a tourist or have multiple certifications. They carry great gear selection, tailored to local environments, and option to order stuff not in stock. Their instructors are amazing, take great care and full of knowlege wether it’s kids learning to dive or adults. – via

I had a phenomenal experience with Mark, a dive instructor who helped me obtain my open-water diving certification within two days, easily and efficiently. He was patient and committed to ensuring all work was done with comfort, and devoted his time all weekend to make sure I could dive no matter what. Besides all the generous accommodations, he was very kind, helping with gear, testing, navigation, and the dives themselves. I learned more than I expected, and even started a dive log, coming out of the experience with much more knowledge than before. I highly recommend him as an Instructor, and this dive shop (which helped me with all gear and explanations) is a phenomenal way to spend my time in FL and obtain my license. – via

The nicest dive guy I’ve ever encountered. He clearly isn’t in it for the money but a passion for diving so he will hook you up with unbelievable deals. He sells used gear from last year’s dive trips at a great rate as well. Honestly I was disappointed to see that anyone left him 4 stars. – via
