Going for a guided nature walk and being so close to the wild animals was an experience I really enjoyed.
Cresent is as a result of reduced water levels in L. Naivasha and you can only guess that the place is only accessible by boat. It is approximately a 10 min boat ride from the shores. One will not miss to see the variety of birds and very large hippos.
The entrance ticket rates are quiet affordable and also doesn’t take a lot of time to queue. There is a toilet on site though near the game sanctuary entrance. The walk is a bit long and it is advised to wear comfortable hiking shoes plus carry some drinking water.
There are currently no carnivores on the island thus the freedom to walk so close to the animals. It is definitely a place worth visiting ❤️. – via

Crescent Island is totally worth the visit. Lots of animals on a small patch of land, you literally walk among giraffes. Amazing experience.
If you decide to do Hell’s Gate (less good than the Crescent island), don’t waste time doing it by bike (around 3h and we are sporty). Do it by car – you can always stop and walk out of the car when you spot animals. Gorge is closed but you still need to hire a local (on top of the park fee) to accompany you on a short walk (between $20 and $40 depending on the length), totally not worth it. The Pride Mountain is nowhere near what you see in the Lion King. Allegedly the tip has fallen down… – via
