Great little resort. You can rest easy with little ones learning to ski independently as almost the entire area is visible from the base. Good food at the base lodge, and better food at the resort itself a short drive downhill. Price can’t be beat. All in all an amazing spot and worth a visit if you have little kids learning to ski! – via

We were two parents and a 4.5 year old who has never ending loads of energy! We stayed at a 2 bedroom plus loft cabin. We didn’t use the loft but it had 4 extra kid size (twin?) beds and made us think it would be a great cabin to spend time with another couple with kids. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils except maybe a pizza cutting wheel which would have been nice to have. Other than that the cabin was well insulated and comfortable for us. It looked clean and well maintained. The grounds felt safe; something which we always want when traveling with our son. There is a short hiking trail that is good for kids starting from the back of the grounds. And although it is not super close to Timberline lodge the drive there was doable for us; 18 to 20 mins. All in all I think we will be back to this place. We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, respectful and helpful, and we left happy with our stay. For reference, we were there around Thanksgiving. – via
