This was definitely not worth the time or the money. Definitely not worth the time because the tour was overbooked for the staff on hand and there was about 1.5 hours of waiting to even start the event. This does not include transportation times. Things went so slowly we got back to the ship an hour after scheduled departure time.
The staff was great, it’s a management problem. I also question the safety of the tree stands. At times 9-10 people on a tree stand. Probably pushing a ton of weight.
Hearsay afterwards, was the tour bus had been robbed at gunpoint several times on the way back from the camp. Believable, since you are out in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. Heard it from several sources after the fact.
Lastly, after the tour expect to get swarmed for tips. Very aggressively.
I would not recommend this tour to anyone. Keep looking. – via
