My boyfriend and I did the horseback riding tour and absolutely loved it. Lucky in specific was an amazing tour guide who made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time. The entire experience was amazing. They took pictures the entire time and did everything they could to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Going in the water with the horses was so much fun. If you are on the fence about taking this tour, do it.

Many things to say… nothing positive.
I am 6 months pregnant. Our tour desk told us they would be ok with me riding since the river was slow and I was right under 6 months pregnant.
We get in the van, drove the 1.5 hours up the mountain to get on the raft only for them to not let me on. After they had told me it would be ok.
Not only did we waste the only pretty day we had on our vacation sitting in the van, we also got told 2 different things from the same company.
Thankfully our van driver (not hired by Chukka) was so fun and great to be around so he eased it for sure!
The lady checking everyone in at Lethe was one of the rudest Jamaicans I have encountered (up until now it has been the most positive experience and nicest people I have ever been around).
From the reviews of the other people in our van that got to do the river raft, I would say don’t waste your money on this tour group or people. There are way nicer Jamaicans to deal with. I thought the motto was “no problem mon”, well… we had a BIG problem. – via

I booked Afternoon Sail, Snorkel & Party Cruise. The boat was definitely a party vibe. Although the tour is listed as 3 hours. We were only on the water for 1 and 1/2 hours.
The boat ride was nice but very brief.
The driver, Gold was excellent.
After my party and I checked in, I was approached and asked if I was pregnant. This woman asked very discreetly and I told her no. A hour passes and minutes before boarding a woman identifies herself as the location manger and she proceeds with the same line of questioning. However, this time after telling her no, she asks me several times if I am sure. There is no need to body police or body shame woman. If one representative from the company asks the question there is no need for further interrogation.

My visit to Chukka Ocean Outpost Sandy Bay was an absolute blast! I opted for the zipline and ATV excursions, and I couldn’t have made a better choice for an adrenaline-packed day in Jamaica.
Ziplining had always been on my bucket list and experiencing it amidst the stunning landscapes of Jamaica was a dream come true. What made the experience truly memorable were the fantastic tour guides – Richie, Andre, Roman, and Nizar. Their professionalism combined with their infectious humor made the zipline adventure an unforgettable one. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone felt safe and at ease, even managing to ease any pre-zipline jitters with their jokes and friendly banter.
The zipline excursion exceeded my expectations, offering breathtaking views and exhilarating thrills as we soared through the treetops and over the sea. It’s an experience I’ll cherish forever, thanks to the outstanding team at Chukka Ocean Outpost.
The adventure didn’t stop there – the ATV excursion was equally fantastic. Elijah, our tour guide, was fantastic. His enthusiasm and knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to the journey. He even took the time to capture memorable moments during our rest breaks, ensuring we had plenty of photos to remember the experience by.
Riding through the safari was an absolute thrill, with each turn offering a new adventure and a rush of excitement. It was the perfect way to explore the rugged beauty of Jamaica’s countryside.

We went to the one in Good hope outpost.
I wouldn’t say I did not enjoy this place but this place is a scam for the amount of money you pay. Please visit a theme park instead.
It costed me $250 CAD which is not worth for what was covered there.
Zip lining was the best part there, there are 4 zip lines totally and the guides are really amazing.
Martha Brae River rafting expected a lot but it was the worst :(, it was 500-700m and our guide was really rude to us from the beginning. If you want to enjoy Martha Brae rafting try it somewhere else please.
Appleton rum tasting was good.
River tubing was a bit bleh. Not worth the money again.
Overall it wasn’t worth for $250 CAD.
If you want you can go in person and book these separately. It’s not very crowded.
The food was okay ish. Not great.

This was the worst catamaran ever we booked it through the Resort, the guy told us that we would have lobster for lunch. I’m sure he also said there will be booze on the boat.
When we got to the place they put us in margaritabill. We were expecting to have a drink. Then they told us we had to pay for drinks. Finished eating at chicken lunch, which was not a lobster. They made us wait while they were all confused on how to put people onto a bus to put us on the catamaran. Once on the camera and which was not a problem. We started making way I asked for a drink. They said they will not. Give us drinks until the end of the catamaran cruise.
At that point I showed frustration. I don’t blame the people that work there. But the person to took my resume reservation. Should have told us all the informalso also I brought my own snorkeling mask full face mask as I do not want to wear. The most peaceful other people have worn. They told me it was against company policy to bring your own full face mask. Do not waste your time with this place. I will be requesting for a full refund – via

The place itself was really good, rafting was also nice. Fantastic experience I would say. There was also a photographer, who was taking pictures of tourists and we were supposed to get these photos later. But in the album, where they were supposed I cannot find them, in other albums too. It’s really disappointing that Chukka decided to post photos of only some tourists, the other seem to be not so important. I was hoping to have some memories from the trip, but was disappointed. That’s is the reason why 3/5. – via

These guys get a 5! Totally worth the amount spent, and might I add a healthy tip! Thank you for taking care of us, staying in great spirits, keeping us safe and on time! So much fun! VERY organized, beautiful area to shower & get ready for excursion. Chukka is a nice spot to go to just to hang even if you don’t book excursions! I wish there was more down time in-between excursions. The lunch that was included w my excursions was VERY good. – via
