Von meiner Seite gibt es “lediglich” ein 4-Sterne-Rating.vorneweg: eine ganz klare Empfehlung für Taucher und Schnorchler. Erst einmal zu mir. Ich bin reiner Urlaubstaucher seit 1993 und das mit Hausbaubedingten und familiärer “Zwangspause” von rund 15 Jahren. Dafür habe ich aber Tauchspots in Europa, Karibik und Mittelamerika gesehen und kann eine gute Tauchschule durchaus erkennen. Meine Frau taucht seit 2016 und wird ihre Meinung sicher noch selbst teilen.
Zu den Einzelheiten:
Wir sind im Steigenberger Hotel mit eigentlich eigener Tauchschule. Diese Tauchschule machte auf uns keinen guten Eindruck, so dass wir uns direkt nach anderen Tauchschulen umgesehen haben.
Chloes liegt im Nachbarhotel und ist mit ein paar Metern Fußweg in 5 bis 10 Minuten erreichbar.
Die Erklärungen und der Verkauf der Tauchgänge ist professionell und trotz hohem Konkurrenzdruck nicht aufdringlich.
Das Tauchboot ist gut in Schuß. Ebenso das Equipment. Das Equipment ist zumindest teilweise 2023 erneuert worden.
An den Tauchgängen gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Kleine Gruppen, Tauchtiefen entsprechen dem Briefing.
Bei 110 Bar ist melden angesagt. Also etwas früher als bei anderen Basen.
Soweit möglich arbeitet man hier mit langsamem Austauchen in flachem Gewässer, statt mit Dekostopps. Ist das nicht möglich werden Dekostopps vorbildlich eingehalten.
Alles Equipment ist gut beschriftet, inkl Tanks. Sehr hilfreich wenn mal wieder eine fremde Gruppe plötzlich dazwischentaucht. Was in Ägypten leider öfter passiert.
Unter dem Boot hängt ein Schild mit dem Firmennamen in geschätzt 3 Meter Tiefe. Hilfreich um das eigene Boot wiederzufinden. Wer Ägypten kennt, weiß wovon ich rede.
Das Equipment wird natürlich aufs Boot gebracht, jeder Taucher montiert aber selbst. Bei Problemen gibt es selbstverständlich Hilfe.
Warum ich trotzdem nur 4 Sterne vergebe? Ganz einfach, die vielen 5-Sternebewertungen liest keiner bzw. jeder hält sie für Fakes. Daher: hier eine versteckte 5-Sterne-Bewertung. – via
