I did my Open Water Diver here and before that I really had a lot of respect for diving. I really felt like I was in good hands and accompanied by our diving instructor Rene (speaks German, which might be interesting for some people). Now that I have already taken part in a diving tour on Coron a few days after the training, I can also confirm that he really trained me very well. I attended the diving course with my girlfriend and we were pleased that there was a German-speaking diving instructor. The system is visually very appealing and looks professional. The entire staff was very polite and accommodating.
We had quite a bit of respect for diving before starting the course, but we still wanted to give it a try. However, thanks to Rene’s calm manner, his experience and good preparation, we quickly felt safe and were able to fully enjoy our first dive in the open sea and successfully complete the diving course. -viagoogle

We had an incredible experience doing our PADI Open Water Diver Course here.
Jose Jonel was an amazing instructor- professional, commited, well experienced and just an amazing guy to spend time with.
We felt extremely safe and well prepared doing all the skills and tasks under his supervision.

The Dive School is a well equipped and maintained site with lovely staff and nice views over the training pool and ocean.

Only feedback as a personal wish for the future: I would appreciate if there would be more vegetarian/vegan options in the restaurant. – via google

Someone recommended me this place and I am so lucky that I took it. I did my discovery scuba here and I would like to send my gratitude to all the staff there, they are so nice and they make sure to give the best satisfaction to all their guests. There are many diving schools in Moalboal. In the end I chose Cebu Fun Divers because of their reputation and it was a very good decision. It was particularly important to me to approach the matter calmly and carefully and to be able to practice the skills several times in a safe environment without time pressure. On the first day I had a few language-related comprehension difficulties and things went a bit too fast for me. That’s why I asked if I could continue the course with a German-speaking teacher. No problem! I was even able to repeat the first day again at no extra charge. I give the school credit for that. Rene, my second instructor, was really the best instructor I can imagine. He took enough time for us for every step of the training. We were 3 students and he dealt with each of us individually. I was really excited and after being a bit clumsy at first , I was able to quickly improve my skills and memorize them. The dives in the sea and the joint exchange afterwards were great fun! Thank you for the great experience! Tip: In my opinion, it is an advantage to go through the PADI e-learning in the language in which you then have the course. The terms and acronyms vary by language.

Es gibt viele Tauchschulen in Moalboal. Am Ende habe ich mich aufgrund ihres guten Rufs für die Cebu Fun Divers entschieden und das war eine sehr gute Entscheidung. Mir war besonders wichtig, die Sache ruhig und bedacht anzugehen und die Skills mehrmals in einer sicheren Umgebung üben zu können, ohne Zeitdruck. Am ersten Tag hatte ich ein paar sprachbedingte Verständnisschwierigkeiten und es ging mir etwas zu schnell. Deswegen habe ich gefragt, ob ich den Kurs mit einem deutschsprachigen Lehrer fortsetzen kann. Kein Problem! Ich konnte den ersten Tag sogar nochmal wiederholen, ohne Aufpreis. Das rechne ich der Schule hoch an. Rene, mein zweiter Tauchlehrer, war wirklich der für mich beste Lehrer, den ich mir vorstellen kann. Er hat sich für jeden Schritt der Ausbildung ausreichend Zeit für uns genommen. Wir waren 3 Schüler und er ist auf jeden von uns individuell eingegangen. Ich war wirklich begeistert und nachdem ich anfangs noch etwas tollpatschig unterwegs war , konnte ich meine Fähigkeiten schnell verbessern und mir einprägen. Die Tauchgänge im Meer und der gemeinsame Austausch danach haben großen Spaß gemacht! Vielen Dank für die tolle Erfahrung! Tipp: Es ist m.E. von Vorteil, das PADI E-Learning in der Sprache durchzunehmen, in welcher man dann den Kurs hat. Die Begriffe und Akronyme sind je nach Sprache unterschiedlich. – via google

Wir machten unseren Open Water Kurs bei den Cebu Fun Divers unter der Leitung von Rene. Der gebürtige Österreicher ist ein super sympathischer Typ und hat uns mit seiner ruhigen und gelassenen Art optimal ausgebildet und uns in keinem Moment das Gefühl gegeben in Eile zu sein. So konnte jeder von uns (wir waren zu dritt) seine Fähigkeiten in seinem eigenen Tempo innerhalb der Gruppe weiterentwickeln. So war es eine ganz angenehme Lernatmosphäre und wir hatten sehr viel Spaß zusammen!
Danke dem ganzen Team für die tolle Zeit, die super Ausrüstung und die einwandfreie Organisation.
Übrigens hat es uns so gut gefallen, dass wir direkt nach unserem bestandenen Schein noch einen zusätzlichen Fun Dive gemacht haben!

I did my open water license here and at the Savedra Dive Center (they cooperate) and I couldn‘t be happier. Everything is taken in small and totally doable steps. The gear is in a great condition and the reef is astonishing. All in all I had an amazing time and I can’t wait to go diving again, although I kinda feared the open blue beforehand… also big thanks to my diving teacher Rene who did a terrific job! I just passed my Open Water certification in the dive center and it went marvelously well.
The staff is very well trained and helpful, the accomodations are great, especially the ocean-side pool. It has a nice restaurant where you can spend your break times at.
