I highly recommend avoiding this diving center at all costs.

Their business practices are horribly unethical and they will not hesitate to keep your deposit, even if the weather is bad and they decide not to dive.

I personally lost over $120 due to their refusal to return my deposit and it was a complete waste of money. Don’t be fooled by any good reviews, this diving center is not to be trusted. Save yourself the headache and look for a more reputable establishment. – via google

I was part of a group that could not go out due to the weather. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place, and especially not if you are planning your trip in advance.

Casa del Buceo kept more than $100 USD of deposit after THEY cancelled because their boat could not go out in the ocean. This is a scam. We did not receive any service for what we paid, not even changing the activity to something else than diving.

This is disappointing and frustrating, to say the least. – via google

We couldn’t go out due to the weather, which happens. We tried to be as flexible as possible, but both days, the port didn’t let anyone out.
Casa del Buceo kept $120 USD of our deposit, and did not provide any service. Why not a full refund? That’s a good question.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. Unless you are going same day when the weather is nice, maybe the team is good, but I wouldn’t reserve in advance again with them due to their lack of flexibility. – via google

(Translated by Google) Totally recommend the diving house, the best place on Isla Mujeres!!! We had not been diving for 1 year and the instructor Jorge reviewed the entire procedure in a clear and simple way. We paid 2000 pesos each for the boat route to the reefs, 1 reminder dive and 2 dives of 40-45 minutes each in the coral reefs, impressive marine life. At the end Jorge gave us all the videos and photos that he took of us diving, super friendly, he also recommended several places to eat and visit. 10/10.

Totalmente recomendable la casa del buceo, el mejor sitio de isla mujeres!!! Hacia 1 año que no buceabamos y el instructor Jorge nos repasó de forma clara y sencilla todo el procedimiento. Pagamos 2000 pesos cada uno por ruta en lancha hasta los arrecifes, 1 inmersión de recordatorio y 2 inmersiones de 40-45 minutos cada una en los arrecifes de coral, impresionante vida marítima. Al terminar Jorge nos pasó todos los vídeos y fotos que nos hizo buceando , super amable, además nos recomendó varios sitios para comer y visitar. 10/10. – via google
