On the outskirts, you can snorkel and admire the reef. There are shaded places so there is no risk of sunburn. I recommend.

This is my preferred beach in Curaçao for scuba diving, snorkeling, or simply relaxing at the beach. The water is so clear and this beach offers full services such as: dive centre, washrooms, showers, and food. Bring water shoes because getting in and out of the water in loose coral pieces is rather painful if you’re barefooted. There’s a fee of $6 US per car for parking and $3 US per person for a lounge chair & shower. – via
