4.75 stars. I don’t give many reviews and I hate 90% of everything (in life), so when I say these folks did a great job… I mean it. They found me a great dive master within a couple of days. Somehow arranged for ideal diving conditions at Monastery, and they have really nice rental gear. They seem like a safety-conscious group, and are in a great location to dive Monterey and around. Some minor internal communication challenges that were easily overcome and not uncommon. Apart from that, great experience. My favorite dive shop in the area. I plan to dive with them again. – via

Great experience from booking to the dive itself! I got certified just this summer so l wanted to have a private dive until getting comfortable in a group setting. My instructor, Bobby, was amazing. I panicked initially because the water was choppy and visibility was low. I was leaning towards heading back before even starting the dive! He calmed me down and literally held my hand through the first 15 minutes of the dive. Thanks to this, l was able to experience the amazing kelp forests of Monterey and swim with sea lions.
On the shop side, they had all my gear ready and waiting for me when l arrived based on the information l provided. Every employee is incredibly nice and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Highly recommended! – via

The staff was so helpful, and they helped me choose a hood to rent and then order. Rent price was very reasonable I think. Jasmin (I think was the name according to the receipt) gave me some great info on spots to snorkel in Monterey beyond what I had found on the internet, and was overall very friendly and informative. Thanks guys 🙂 – via

One of the best dive shops I’ve been to, the service and quality of the rental equipment was top notch. The owner Adam was awesome. Made sure we’d be able to dive at the date and time we wanted, even said if he couldn’t find a dive master to take us out he’d do it himself. He contracts out the best local dive masters for tours and set us up with Phil. He was everything you want from a dive master, professional, educated and fun to talk/dive with. We had a blast and look forward to diving with Cannery Row Aquatics next time we are back in Monterey. – via

Great experience over all. I went on two dives at Breakwater with an awesome guide named Phil. The rental process was smooth, the pricing ($105 for two dives) was reasonable and the support staff were helpful.
The shop is right next to the beach, and so some of the staff loaded out gear onto carts and walked us out to the site. Phil did an awesome job of dive planning ahead of time and explaining the potential site risks and how to manage them. – via
