We loved this dive shop. They were so accommodating. We came to the Philippines mostly to dive. However, after a series of unfortunate events I was unable to dive for an extended period of time. Bongo and Magnus worked with us so patiently! When I was finally able to make a comeback it felt like I had a whole team supporting me. If you come to Dauin for diving, do yourself a favour and dive with Bongo Bongo! You’ll find yourself surrounded by a positive community of divers (and cute dogs).
Not only is the dive gear high quality and well maintained, but all the staff and divemasters are friendly and approachable! We had some amazing dives, seeing everything from frogfish, nudibranchs, and huge fish around the house reef and Apo Island.
My fiancé and I stayed for 2 weeks in their accommodation. The bed was super comfortable and it came with two fans and a mosquito net. Mariel and the front-of-house staff are great and are always there to help should you need anything like booking transport/ordering food deliveries or getting recommendations around Dauin.
Perfect for anyone looking for a quality dive getaway on a budget.
