Visited the Bohio Dive Resort last week and it is still closed and not being maintained. No construction is going on. A security guard emerged when I started poking around the front of the building. I asked if it was going to reopen, but he did not seem to know if or when. Sad. Didn’t have the pleasure of visiting when it was in its heyday. – via google

Bohio is permanently closed. The business went into liquidation in Summer of 2023. They took our booking in the Spring, and it was only by catching a legal notice in a spam folder that we found out that our prepayment was forfeit. – via google

This was recommended for seafood. Ultimately restaurant was a bit of a tourist trap with high prices and lackluster food. As an alternative, we We would recommend stopping by one of the local fish markets where you can pick up fresh catch and cook it up yourself. Otherwise the location of the restaurant is beachside which is a clear advantage over some of the more centrally located dining spots. – via google

This was recommended for seafood. Ultimately restaurant was a bit of a tourist trap with high prices and lackluster food. As an alternative, we We would recommend stopping by one of the local fish markets where you can pick up fresh catch and cook it up yourself. Otherwise the location of the restaurant is beachside which is a clear advantage over some of the more centrally located dining spots. – via google

Didn’t stay but dinner and drinks were great. Tuesday is “movie on the beach” night. Really cool. Projector screen on the beach showing the latest movies. Themed buffet dinner (Italian, Chinese, etc). They also have a local band play on Saturday nights. Highly recommended. – via google

Absolutely incredible first day diving with this team. Suli was our instructor and he was so patient and helpful. I can’t say enough about this human being as he is one of the kindest people we have ever met. He knew almost every type of coral and fish that he saw. We dove camel hump and the supermarket.
