An outstanding facility who’s instructors pay special attention to detail and safety and ensure that everybody is safe and ready to dive before they pass the course. The underwater environment is not to be trifled with and if you’re not ready you’re not ready. Staff and owner always put Safety First to maximize your experience underwater and have a long career in recreational scuba diving so that you can truly enjoy your time underwater without exception. I’ve known Robin for over 20 years and she is hypervigilant about safety law ensuring that our students have a great experience and when done are fully ready to dive anywhere in the world. Unfortunately i have to sue them as the one instructor had too many people in class and almost killed someone. I was in that class. They expected 10 students to finish all 4 certification in 2 days of pool iN 3 hrs per session and if we were not fast enough the instructor said it was a beer penalty. – via

If you want ‘above and beyond’ customer service, Robin at Bob’s Scuba is the person to see. I took my nieces in for snorkeling gear and she was so patient and kind with them. She even called me after we left the store the next day to advise that she found a cheaper combo for the one set so I wanted to return them, she would switch them out. We also had to change prescription lenses from one pair and she made sure we had the correct prescription before we left! This level of customer service is just so impressive and appreciated. – via

I ordered the Cressi z1 frames mask, the Scubapro snorkel and the Scubapro travel fins (online). Immediately after placing the order, I got a call from Robin (who was actually on holiday visiting her family) to inform me of stock numbers and alternatives if I needed the order quickly. After letting her know I had time, she immediately put an order in for exactly what I wanted. I received further communication from her throughout the process, which was amazing! I felt like Robin went above and beyond to get me the best of the best! She treated me like I had been a long time customer, even though it was my first time ordering from Bob’s Scuba Shop. Her customer service is by far the best I have received at any store – ever! She took time out of her own holiday and was so incredibly genuine in wanting to help me. If I need anymore dive gear in the future I will for sure be going back to Bob’s Scuba Shop for Robin’s support! – via

My son just finished his open water certification with Robin and her team. Robin was very accommodating when we had to job reschedule my son’s open water dives.
Marco and Jay created a laid back atmosphere during the open water dives and made sure everyone was at ease! Bud was also great fun during the pool sessions! A great experience!!! – via

Went into your store for a new mask only to find your NO RETURNS NO EXCHANGES POLICY. This effectively keeps me out as a customer…what if I spend $200 on a new mask : I have lost all my money. Best to order from the internet and take your chances rather than buy from a STORE THAT WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHECK THE MASK OUT IN A SWIMMING POOL. I rented one of their masks to try it but all of the used masks do not reflect their inventory. Beside the $73 mask I tried out had overall less durability than the one I bought 5 years ago. – via
