Very poor service from their event sales manager, Cait Ferguson. I wasted two months trying to get a proper proposal from her and ended up doing the site visit alone. When I was ready to sign, she was completely unresponsive. If you have to work with her, you can expect a two week response rate. A friend of a friend of mine had a similar experience working with Cait. Don’t waste you time. Such an incredible venue, but not worth the headache and wasted time. – via

planes from the blue sky ranch often fly illegally and dangerously low over residential areas. the staff refuses to acknowledge this as an issue. the pilots sometimes make sharp banking descents, while only a few hundred feet from the ground, over traffic and houses. the FAA laws say that planes must be at least 1000 feet from the ground, approximately the height of a 100 story building. if anyone sees them flying too low, get a video and send it to the FAA, include the identifying number on the tail of the plane.
UPDATE/EDIT: ive lived here for about 20 years. i only noticed the planes flying too low in the past 5 years, they didnt used to do this. i have told blue sky ranch about this problem. they told me that they dont fly that low and insulted me. i asked them to promise me that they wouldnt fly that low, they did. then they flew illegally low many more times that day and over the past few years. i have video and will be sending it to the faa. there is no need for insults. your rudeness only shows that i am probably right. i never said that they arent safe to jump at, only that they sometimes fly illegally and dangerously low, which they do. someone has died there, but thats could just be the law of averages, its bound to happen eventually. what does being in a capitalist or communist country have to do with following established federal aviation guidelines? you think they should be allowed to fly too low? i see small plane crashes in the national news fairly often. they sometimes crash into houses with innocent people inside, which is why i am worried. even a skilled pilot shouldnt fly too low, because its dangerous. ive even been to some of their parties at the ranch, they get pretty wild and crazy. – via
