The course director is not an easy guy to get along with. He will argue with you and listen to no reasoning. Beware of dealing with him in your classes and diving with him, he is reckless. The owner is awesome and so is the sales staff. – via

I did my PADI open water diver certification here and could not have been more pleased with the education. My instructor was incredibly thorough and patient. Her calming presense in the water put me at ease, even in challenging situations. Prior to signing up, I called several times to ask questions (which I recommend you do, if you’re looking at the 3-day training like I did, since it requires more skills that the traditional certification pathway). Everyone in the dive shop was patient and very knowledgeable. I feel like I can handle any situation the comes my way in the water with the skills that I’ve gained. I could not recommend this dive shop enough! – via

My experience with Blue Octopus has been sensational. Everyone I’ve encountered seems to really care and will go the extra mile. I signed up for a refresher course (after being away from the water for 9 years) and divemaster Janet was so patient and even lent me her own gear when I arrived in a pinch. This shop is helping me enjoy diving! – via
