The OWD course was a lot of fun.
Matthias, the diving instructor, is very patient and experienced, which is particularly valuable if you are unsure or afraid yourself (e.g. with certain exercises or similar).
The fact that I did the diving course in Germany was more of a spontaneous idea (because when you dive, you tend to think of the colorful coral reefs in the Caribbean and not of the murky German seas), but I’m really happy and grateful that I did the course to have!
Diving is not a run-of-the-mill sport that you can just learn, it requires a lot of experience and practice. Above all, you should be aware of all safety-related aspects.
I’m only at the very beginning after the OWD course, but thanks to the Actionsport-Dolphindivers diving school I’ve taken the essential building blocks with me, so that I can also feel safe underwater on future vacation trips. I don’t think a speed course on vacation would have given me the same sense of security.

Ein sehr sympathisches und kompetentes Team!
Der OWD Kurs hat wahnsinnig viel Spaß gemacht.
Matthias, der Tauchlehrer, ist sehr geduldig und erfahren, was insbesondere dann wertvoll ist, wenn man selbst unsicher ist oder Angst hat (zB bei bestimmten Übungen o.Ä.).
Dass ich den Tauchkurs in Deutschland gemacht habe war eher eine spontane Idee (da man ja eigentlich beim Tauchen eher an die bunten Korallenriffe in der Karibik denkt und nicht an die deutschen, trüben Seen), aber ich bin wirklich froh und dankbar den Kurs gemacht zu haben!
Tauchen ist kein 0815 Sport den man mal eben so lernen kann, es bedarf viel Erfahrung und Übung. Vor allem sollte man sich über alle sicherheitsrelevanten Aspekte im Klaren sein.
Ich bin zwar nach dem OWD Kurs erst ganz am Anfang, aber dank der Tauchschule Actionsport-Dolphindivers habe ich die wesentlichen Bausteine mitgenommen, so dass ich mich auch auf zukünftigen Urlaubsreisen unterwasser sicher fühlen kann. Ich glaube nicht, dass ein Speedkurs im Urlaub mir das gleiche Sicherheitsgefühl mitgegeben hätte.
