You have to get up early to catch the sunrise for sure, but …
You have to get up early to catch the sunrise for sure, but that’s just astrophysics for you. The Earth spins right round like a record and goes around the sun, not the other way around. Copernicus proved it, and Galileo said he was totally right. So complaining that you have to get up early to beat the sun, well, that’s a waste of time.
Anyway. Get up early. You get to see the sunrise on top of a freaking volcano. On. Top. Of. A. Volcano. And then, if that wasn’t epic enough, you get to Evel Knievel your bike through like a gazillion hairpin turns while going a hundred miles an hour to get back. How cool is that? It could only get cooler if there were ninja and flamethrowers, or maybe ninja with flamethrowers. Or maybe ninja, flamethrowers, and Evel Knievel. But then, only maybe.
Ok. So, yeah. Hotdogging on the bike is strongly discouraged. Don’t try and jump the volcano. Use your brakes wisely and have fun. The view is insane and the experience is one-of-a-kind.
(Dress warmly. Wear gloves. You wouldn’t think it’d get cold on a volcano, but it does.) – via
