EDIT: The owner of the company has since issued me a full refund and apologized for the undelivered surf lesson.
I booked a $100 surf lesson with them on Aug 19 2022 and the instructors never showed up. I arrived at the meet up point on time and waited for 30 minutes for someone to arrive. I searched the entire park, the beach, and the surf shops across the street and was told that surf companies usually set up in the parking lot where I was waiting so I know I was in the right spot.
I tried calling their office twice on the day of the lesson but there was no answer and their mailbox was full so I couldn’t leave a message. The day after the lesson I received an automated email asking how my experience was and to leave a review, so clearly they were not tracking who attended the class.
I have since emailed them twice via their website contact page asking for a refund and have received no response and no refund. So now I am forced to leave this review.
This was my last day of holiday before flying home and it was such a sad way to end off an otherwise amazing trip. – via
