I’ve only been to five of the museum ships so far, with two being very dissimilar.
I was impressed with the amount of ship open and the variety of displays as you went through the self-guided tour locations.
The guides were pretty knowledgeable about the ship itself, with some inaccuracies when discussions moved off of the Missouri itself to sister ships or comparable ships in other Navies.
I wish the Captain’s tour and Mechanics Tour didn’t lock out parts of the ship to explore like the turret. That was an expensive option for little more ship availability and little new tour discussion.
Overall a great ship to explore! – via

Beautiful ship where treat to end WWII was signed. Was short on time so I did 35 min guided tour with Dawn and then did a quick internal self guided tour to see living quarters, etc. Some food trucks available with burgers, hot dogs, dole whip, etc. Take free shuttle from pearl harbor memorial, go here first, then take shuttle to next stop at aviation museum. Shuttle about every 15 minutes. While waiting for your shuttle, cross street to visit USS Oklahoma memorial. – via
