If you are not diving with Barefoot you are missing out. We received our open water certification from them and then chose to dive with them the rest of the week. The entire team is extremely friendly and professional, and they make it a top priority that you learn and enjoy yourself when you are with them. A huge shoutout to Eyal who was a superb instructor and taught me to be a confident scuba diver. Also, huge thanks to Daniel, Jose and Harley that always made it joy shuttling between dive sites. If I could give them a 6 out 5 stars I would. Highly recommended. – via

Just did my Rescue Diver Course @ Barefoot and had the best experience. My instructor Adi is highly qualified for this task, assuring an excellent as well as fun and loving experience. I love Barefoot Dive Center and will probably never dive with anybody else in Cozumel due their professionalism, understanding, amazing friendly staff, the boat, the coffee, among many other things. Very good dive center! I did my advanced open water with Sander and it was all great. On a side note, I also went with my wife to be her buddy for her OW dives with instructor Ina and it was great diving in the reef barrier that is super impressive. The price for the certification were ok but the dives to the barrier were fairly expensive though (2300MXN or 135USD) but this is totally worth it for what you see.

Dive Paradise and Hotel Cozumel easy to get to, reasonably priced, nice rooms and food, gear lockers and rinse tanks are conveniently located near dock. Our dive guides were good, hotel and restaurant staff attentive. Dives mostly drift so divers need to have their act together. Rooms have gear pegs on balconies to dry your gear. If you are experienced and don’t have claustrophobia take a day to dive the cenotes, Take extra cash for taxis, ferry if you do cenotes, tips and incidentals. Hotels can’t run shuttles as taxis have a monopoly. – via
