I spent 3 days diving with These guys and had a fabulous time each day! I can’t recommend them enough! Erik is a very professional yet super fun guide who’s very passionate about sharing his knowledge of all the creatures in the sea! They also offer first class safety as well. Trip was amazing, they took their time to make sure we were prepared and comfortable, brought us to a couple great locations, provided lunch and hydration. What a great day! I came down to Puerto Vallarta for my AOW Certification, decided to go with Banderas Scuba Republic and I’m glad I did! Ceasar is organized, professional and responsive. He planned 3 days of diving for myself and my friends who was getting his Open Water Cert.
Ceasar has an amazing team – Eric and Rojo were my 2 instructors for my AOW.
I spent majority of my time with Eric who is not only calm, patient and organized but also fun and very knowledgeable of the dive sites and the sea life.
I brought my own gear, they very kindly cleaned and stored it until the end of my trip. Everything as it should be when I came to pick it up. Very grateful for the experience. I definitely will be back.

We did our Advanced Open Water training with Banderas. From the start the communication with Cesar was very good- he was always prompt with responding to our questions. Our Instructor Eric was amazing- he was a very good teacher while remaining fun and entertaining, and was always checking in on everyone personally to make sure they were doing well. Couldn’t have had a better experience! Cesar was kind and professional, and Ricardo (my dive master) was patient and experienced! It was my first time diving and I felt safe the entire time, and had lots of fun with my family in the water looking at the marine life! Where to begin? The check in process was smooth and easy, the dive instructors are friendly, attentive, and have deep knowledge of the local ecosystems, and Cesar puts the whole experience together flawlessly. It would be difficult to imagine diving with another shop upon my return visit.

The PADI training experience is excellent! I signed up slightly spontaneously for the first level of open water certification. I completed the online learning in about 2 days, had one afternoon in the pool and 2 mornings in the ocean. Such a great experience and I was so glad that Max was my instructor!! A few of my friends and I got our PADI open water certification with Banderas earlier this year. Everything leading up to the actual water experiences in Puerto Vallarta were amazing. Cesar made sure we finished the online training component and were all ready by the time we arrived in Mexico. Cesar and his team did an amazing job making sure we felt safe and had fun. The dive shop was very clean and I felt comfortable using the equipment. While doing our dives, our dive instructor max made sure to point out all of the interesting sea creatures that we were seeing. It’s amazing to learn that there’s a whole other world under the sea. I would highly recommend booking with the Banderas team if you’re trying to dive in PV. – via google
