Very disappointing. Do not bother.
Expect 1-star service for 5-star prices.
Had many issues during our 4-night stay in Jan 2023 (private room).
1. They double charged me for the same reservation and have not yet refunded me (after >1 month). Quickly dismissing it was not their fault and refusing to reply afterwards.
2. The lady at reception ordered an overpriced taxi for us twice (who was actually just one of her “friends”), even sharing one with us and asking us way above the rate we got other times.
3. Room service came in 2 of the 3 days at 3-5 PM, which is a bit ridiculous considering many people go on hikes/ activities during the day and come back around that time. I asked half an hour later if they could clean the room and never came.
4. Breakfast takes forever. It happened twice that we went 15 minutes after breakfast opened and the order did not come in 45 minutes, when we had activities booked.
5. Most of the staff do not seem to actually care to give good service.
The rooms are basic for the price charged, but the castle, garden, etc. adds to the nice atmosphere, so this is about the only good thing I can say about them.

Charged me once directly and once through Expedia for the exact same stay. – via
