Beware of this shop! We signed up the week before thanksgiving, and the dive was canceled. The dive owner (Mindi) told us we would get a refund. We sent money to an American Zelle account before hand. Which now thinking back was an extremely bad idea. It has been two months and still have not been refunded.
The first few weeks they mentioned they had a medical condition and would send money soon. Understandable, then their daughter wrote back to us using extremely rude and unprofessional language about how insensitive we were. We just wanted our refund and got excuse after excuse. I have some of the voice memo’s Mindi sent that are incredibly uncomfortable.
Now we have been blocked by the Facebook page, blocked by the email, blocked by the phone and are owed hundreds of dollars in a refund. Incredibly unprofessional shop. Only pay money to dive shop on site. DO NOT SEND MONEY AHEAD OF TIME. – via

We tried to book diving through Bahia, they had us send money to Mindi Hill to reserve our spot, they then cancelled the trip after we paid. Once we got to Puerto Aventuras the other dive shops told us that Bahia no longer exists as a shop. We have now been trying for a month to get a refund. DO NOT SEND Bahi or Mindi money. – via

An amazing, family owned and operated operation. They assisted us with all of the best diving adventures and they took the time to ensure that we knew all of the current ongoing with Covid and where we would be safest and where we would have the best quality, from diving, to so many amazing tours they offer and our private transport was perfect. Cozumel was our favorite diving, combined with exploring the beautiful 5Th Avenue, in Playa del Carmen. Just incredible! We did some research on unique places we would like to experience and we were able to fit in some great diving and other adventures, all in one day, with the entire family enjoying together. They are so organized and the entire staff is incredibly hospitable. We’re even booking a Dive BNB with them, on our next vacation. Thanks Bahia Divers! We’ll be back!!! ?????????????????? – via

I can not say enough good things about Mindi and this company. My mother and I reached out to Bahia Divers after diving with them in 2017. Mindi is now leading the company and I think things have gotten even better. Mindi has now teamed up with a few local females to provide an upmost total experience from hotel pickup to drop off. Mindi was only a text away to take care of all of our needs.
Mindi was so accommodating to our anxiety about our own diving skills and set us up with a refresher and two ocean dives in Cozumel. What a check off the bucket list to dive in Cozumel! Mindi was in constant communication from our first inquiry, throughout our dive day, and days after to make sure we were satisfied.
Our dive master was also incredibly knowledgeable and comforting. He was able to show us amazing sea life including a sea turtle and an eagle ray.
I recommend Mindi and her team for all yours excursions. – via
