As a beginner diver, I was very nervous before the dive. Thanks to the detailed explanation and great support from Dimitris, I quickly felt very safe. I can only recommend this diving school to everyone. The facility is clean and located right by the sea, the equipment is well maintained and there are hot showers. You also notice how much passion there is in this diving school. Perfect!?? -via

I signed up with the Athina Diving centre for the open water scuba diving course, and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Dmitri, the owner and instructor of the dive site, is very welcoming and patient, which puts any new diver at ease.

Here are the reasons to pick this dive site-
1. Great instructors- Both Dmitri and Nick are amazing, they are patient and give you time to get comfortable and ask questions.
2. The dive site is by the open water, which makes access to the water super quick.
3. Excellent and well maintained equipment. There are no cheap brands here.
4. Safety takes priority over anything else.
5. Great facilities, hot shower, ample parking, lots of benches to assemble your kit and just relax on.

In short, if you’re in Greece and looking to experience the open waters or would like to learn scuba diving, Athina Diving Center is the place to do it! – via

I researched quite a few scuba centres in the area before I settled down on Athina Diving.
I was very happy to find I made the right choice!
What can I say about Dimitris, the owner and master instructor? He is so good at what he does. He is very calm and composed. He knows so much about diving and one can instantly tell. He explains everything thoroughly, and he has a relaxed and joyful style that makes learning so pleasant.

His dive centre is of a very high standard, he has all the equipment in top order, and lots of options for sizing and particular tastes. The location is the best possible; right on the beach, not having to lug around heavy scuba gear in a car for miles on end to reach water is so helpful. Confined water is in a natural pool-like area in the sea, which is much better than a faceless boring pool. I would recommend Dimitris to anyone and everyone, whatever stage you are in your scuba journey! – via
